WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT FROM MY CONSULTATION?

A personal consultation with Dr. Peterson is the first step for every patient considering breast reconstruction.  During this meeting, Dr. Peterson will assess your physical and emotional health and discuss your specific goals for the procedure.  You should arrive at the consultation prepared to provide information about:

• Previous surgical procedures
• Past and present history medical conditions
• Medications your are taking, including dietary or herbal supplements

To help you determine which reconstructive method will give you the best results, Dr. Peterson will perform a physical examination and measurements and photographs will be taken for your medical record.

This information is intended to act only as an introduction to the breast reconstruction procedures, it is not a substitute for the in depth information you will receive during your consultation visit with Dr. Peterson who, as a board certified Plastic Surgeon, has over 20 years of experience performing this procedure.
