HOW IS
A FACELIFT PERFORMED?
The
technique chosen for your surgery depends on your
features. Dr. Peterson's preferences and of course
your desired results.
There are
many variations to the facelift procedure. Dr.
Peterson used the "short incision technique",
thereby eliminating a visible incision line and the unsightly
incision scar behind the ear.
Working
through the incisions, Dr. Peterson frees up the facial
skin from it's underlying tissue and lifts it upward and
back to the a position it occupied when you were younger.
The
excess skin is then removed. The deeper tissues are repositioned
to the restore a more youthful contour to your face. if
necessary, an incision under the chin allows Dr. Peterson
to remove fatty tissue in that area and smooth the
core-like structure of the underlying muscle in the neck.
Dr.
Peterson most commonly performs this procedure under
general anesthesia in an out-patient facility and after a monitored
recovery, you will return home the very same day.
So soften
your journey through time. Through extensive
surgical experience and artistic imagination, Dr. Peterson
can help you achieve the natural elegance of a more
youthful, rested appearance.

mirror your friend again. Make an appointment today and
